Displaying bots in meetings
In Salescaling, bots automate the process of recording and transcribing your meetings, making it easy to capture key information. In this article, we explain how bots work in your meetings, how they are displayed, and what settings you can adjust during the meeting.
When a Salescaling bot joins a Google Meet meeting, it integrates automatically and discreetly, without interrupting the flow of the meeting. The bot will appear as a participant in the attendee list under the name AI Note Taker.
Once the bot attempts to join, all participants receive a notification that the bot is waiting to join. From there, the meeting organizer must manually accept or deny its entry. Only after being accepted, the bot can start recording and extracting relevant information from the meeting.
Once the bot is accepted, it will be seen as one more in the meeting, the corresponding image should be visible, the message in the chat and the recording audio should be played. You can find out how to configure these settings in the following article.
The bot's behavior in Microsoft Teams is similar to that of Google Meet. When the bot attempts to join the meeting, participants are notified, and it is displayed as an attendee waiting to be accepted. The organizer must manually approve or deny its entry. If it is granted access, the bot will begin performing its recording and analysis functions.
Just like in Google Meet, once the bot is accepted, it will be seen as one more in the meeting, the corresponding image should be visible, the message in the chat and the recording audio should sound. You can find out how to configure these settings in the following article.
